浮生記行 In Vishnu’s Dream
“In Vishnu’s Dream” is in many ways an artist’s book, as all the images are my own and I was very involved in the design and layout. I also did the translations myself, which was a very interesting process, a very different creative process. As I tried to recapture the essence rather than translate literally, I was rewarded by deeper insights into the poems during the process. It confirms my view that creative work is a living and evolving thing. As long as people engage with it it lives on.
